Two men have appeared in court over a machete attack in Shipley over the weekend.
The incident took place on Leeds Road in the Windhill area at around 12.40pm on Saturday 23 June.
Officers armed with Tasers attended the scene and arrested two men. They also recovered a machete-type weapon from the area.
A man was taken to hospital with cuts to his head and hand injuries. The injuries are said to be serious but not life-threatening.
Two men, aged 24 and 25, have both been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and affray.
