Transport for the North (TfN) will be in Bradford to host a public consultation event on their draft Strategic Transport Plan.
The plan includes a proposed network for Northern Powerhouse Rail (NPR) and securing a city centre stop on the network is a key priority for Bradford Council.
Leading council members are calling for local residents, businesses and supporters to attend the event tomorrow (21 February) to show their support for the investment.
Launched last month, Transport for the North’s 30-year plan outlines a vision for transformational transport investment across the north of England and proposes a new Trans Pennine rail line as part of Northern Powerhouse Rail that connects Manchester and Leeds, via Bradford.
