A thief brandishing a knife stabbed three men in a shop in Old Trafford.
Shortly after 3am on Sunday 2 July 2017, a man entered the ‘Boozy Busters’ shop on Upper Chorlton Road and attempted to steal items off the counter.
During a struggle, the man swiped at the staff with a knife, cutting one on the head, and stabbing one in the neck, and another in the leg. He then fled, threatening the staff as he left.
One of the men, aged 42, was taken to hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries. Two other men, aged 29 and 45, were treated for injuries, which are not serious.
Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses.
