Three men have been jailed in connection with a gun attack on the home of a Salford gang leader.
Three shots were fired through the rear patio doors of a house on Cloughfield Avenue in Ordsall, the family home of Stephen Britton.
Britton was named as the leader of Salford's A Team crime gang in two trials about the explosion of violence in Salford, including the murder of the Salford 'Mr Big' Paul Massey.
Britton was not home at the time of the shooting in May last year, but two siblings and his mother were. They were not injured.
Britton was jailed for five years for killing 18-year-old Adam Jama in a hit-and-run in 2009.
Tony Kelly, 27, and Phillip Manning, 31, were sentenced to 16-and-a-half years in prison. Bryan Thomas 19, who was also sentenced for kidnap, false imprisonment and GBH following an incident in his home city of Liverpool nine weeks after the shooting, was handed a sentence of 17 years with a four-year extended licence.
