Police in Manchester have arrested a suspected rapist after a teenager was sexually assaulted in the city centre over the weekend.
The 17-year-old victim left Lola Lo bar on Deansgate Locks at about 3.45am on Friday 31 May and accepted a lift from a man offering to take her to a taxi rank.
After leaving the vehicle she was followed by the driver, who attacked her on Salford Quays.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
