Police investigating the death of a 32-year-old man in Dewsbury have made further arrests in connection with the incident.
Officers were called at around 8.40pm on Friday 17 February to The Town where a 32-year-old man was found with serious injuries.
He was taken to hospital but died as a result of his injuries shortly after.
A total of nine people have been arrested, aged between 16 and 20-years-old, all from Dewsbury. All nine have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Police can also now confirm the name of the deceased as Jonathan Binns, 32, from Ings Crescent, in Dewsbury. Officials have be confirmed he died as a result of multiple injuries.
Jonathan's father, David Binns, said "As a family we are still coming to terms with what has happened to Jonathan. He was a much loved son and dedicated father to his own child. We would like to thank the local community for all their continued support. We would respectively ask for privacy at this difficult time."
