Five young men have been sentenced at Bradford Crown Court for their involvement in a series of violent incidents targeting three victims, including two teenage boys. The attacks involved robbery, group violence and the use of a baseball bat, with two brothers receiving immediate custodial sentences.
Five Young Men Sentenced Following Violent Attacks on Innocent Victims in Bradford
Five young men have been sentenced for their involvement in three separate incidents of violence in Bradford, which saw two teenage boys and a visitor to the city targeted in frightening attacks.
Bradford Crown Court heard how the incidents took place between May 2023 and February 2026, with victims being surrounded, threatened and physically assaulted by groups of young men.
Two brothers received immediate custodial sentences, while three other defendants were handed suspended sentences.
Judge Kirstie Watson described the seriousness of the violence, highlighting how fortunate some of the victims were not to have suffered even more severe injuries.
Teenager surrounded at Bradford Interchange
The first incident took place in May 2023 when a 15-year-old boy was surrounded by a large group of males at Bradford Interchange.
The teenager handed over his bag before being forced to withdraw money from a cash machine.
Mohammed Fakraoui, 20, of Brearley Avenue, Milton Keynes, later admitted an affray offence in connection with the incident.
Visitor attacked twice in Bradford city centre
Just days later, a man who had travelled from the North East to Bradford for work was subjected to two violent attacks.
The court heard that the man's bag and tablet were taken by a member of a group of young men.
When he confronted the group and demanded his belongings back, he was threatened before being punched and kicked.
A member of the public intervened and brought the initial assault to an end.
However, the group returned while the victim was recovering and launched a second attack.
Prosecutor Fen Greatley-Hirsch told the court that one of the defendants used a baseball bat during the violence.
Judge Watson viewed CCTV footage showing the man being attacked while on the ground.
The victim required hospital treatment for extensive bruising but fortunately suffered no broken bones.
Fahed Nouaimi, Ayman Albadien, Kenny Abdoul Katie and Mohammed Fakraoui admitted offences relating to the incident.
Albadien also admitted possessing an offensive weapon in connection with the baseball bat.
Sixteen-year-old attacked in Toller Lane
The third incident took place in February 2026 in the Toller Lane area of Bradford.
A 16-year-old boy was chased before being assaulted by Fahed Nouaimi.
The court heard that Nouaimi punched and kicked the teenager and struck him on the head with an aftershave bottle.
His older brother, Ahmad Al-Nouaimi, then joined in the attack.
The teenager suffered a broken nose and other injuries.
In a victim impact statement, he described experiencing flashbacks and struggling to understand why he had been targeted.
He told the court:
"I still cannot understand why the defendants attacked me. I hadn’t done anything to them or their family."
The court was told that the teenager was still awaiting surgery to repair his nose.
Judge Watson suggested the attack may have resulted from mistaken identity but said Ahmad Al-Nouaimi had joined in rather than intervening to stop the violence.
She said it was fortunate the teenager had not suffered more serious injuries.

The defendants received the following sentences:

Fahed Nouaimi also admitted offences connected to the earlier attack on the visitor.
The other defendants admitted offences relating to their respective involvement in the incidents.
Judge highlights impact on victims
During sentencing, Judge Watson emphasised the serious nature of the attacks and the harm caused to innocent people.
The court heard how one victim had been attacked twice in quick succession, while another continued to experience psychological distress and required further medical treatment.
The sentences conclude proceedings against the five defendants for their involvement in the incidents.
