A sports instructor who sexually assaulted a young girl during a training session has avoided jail
Bradford Crown Court heard that 36-year-old Adam Wisniewski, formerly of Thornton Road in Bradford, touched the girl indecently four times on the same evening, reducing her to tears.
Wisniewski was convicted of a single “multiple incident” count of sexual assault following a trial and was remanded in custody to be sentenced on Monday.
Regarding the charges, his barrister, Rebecca Young, said he was of previous good character and struggling to accept what he had done.
She went on to state he had already been punished “a great deal”, explaining he had lost his job as a quality controller and was sofa surfing at the time of the trial.
Recorder Taryn Turner sentenced Wisniewski to nine months imprisonment, suspended for 18 months, with 240 hours of unpaid work.
He must complete a rehabilitation activity requirement and sign on the sex offender register for ten years. A Sexual Harm Prevention Order was made, also for ten years.
