Gun shots were fired during a large fight on Manchester’s Curry Mile.
Reports say a group of people were brawling on Wilmslow Road in Rusholme in the early hours of Sunday morning, 13 August, when another man approached and fired what police believe to have been blanks.
Police were called out to the incident at 4.10am but no one has come forward to report any injuries.
There is an unconfirmed suggestion that the man with the gun had been in a car which was damaged and that he had left the vehicle at the scene.
Police have launched an investigation but say they believe this was an isolated incident.
