A shop worker tackled would-be armed robbers in Bradford.
Police in Bradford are appealing for witnesses after the attempted robbery at Kubus Euro News on Clayton Road.
The incident happened just after midnight on Sunday morning, 6 August, when three males wearing face coverings went into the shop each carrying a firearm.
They then threatened the person working in the store who then tackled the suspects. He was hit in the face whilst doing so. During the incident a black handgun was dropped.
A customer then helped the member of staff in the struggle and one of the three suspects had his face covering removed. He is described as an Asian male, 18 to 22-years-old, with a thin face and a beard. The other two suspects were described as Asian males, between 18 to 25-years-old.
The three suspects made off empty handed with two of them heading down Clayton Road and then onto Cemetery Road and Northside Terrace. The third ran down a pathway between Clayton Road Fisheries and Cutz 2000 towards Scholemoor Road.
