A Seacroft school has raised more than £1,500 for the NSPCC after pupils showed off their sporting prowess to fundraise following the leading children’s charity’s Speak Out Stay Safe assembly.
Pupils at White Laith Primary school in Seacroft, Leeds raised a staggering £1,589.40 after completing super circuits including yoga, dance and gym ball challenges.
The charity says the pupils were keen to fundraise after volunteers from the NSPCC delivered a Speak Out Stay Safe Assembly. The assembly helped children to identify a trusted adult they can speak to if they are ever worried about themselves or a friend along with information about Childline.
