Police are investigating a robbery at a working men’s club in Castleford.
The incident happened on Monday 18 June when officers received a call shortly after 10.00am to suspects inside Vickers Street working men’s club.
A woman was working in the cellar when she noticed two males inside the club.
The suspects approached her and took money from her, assaulting the victim in the process and causing minor injuries.
The first suspect is described as a white male, 5ft 11ins to 6ft, medium build and he was wearing a black hoody, with the hood up, black baseball cap, blue slim leg jeans and dark coloured trainers with a white sole.
The second suspect is described as a white male, 5ft 6ins, stocky build. He was wearing a dark blue hoody, hood up around his face and dark coloured trousers with pockets down each leg.
The female victim was taken to hospital for medical treatment and was later discharged.
