Police in Greater Manchester said a cannabis farm they raided had a potential street value of a quarter of a million pounds.
The haul was discovered at a house on Green Street in Middleton, with more than 500 plants in two upstairs rooms.
One man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of the production of cannabis.
