Another man was arrested yesterday, 31 July, as detectives continue to investigate last week's firearms discharges in Huddersfield.
A 22-year-old man was arrested in Huddersfield yesterday morning on suspicion of firearms offences, including possession of a firearm, and remains in custody.
He is the seventh person to have been arrested by the force's specialist Firearms Prevent Team as enquires continue into four discharge offences and a linked affray in the local area.
A 17-year-old male, who was arrested on Sunday, 30 July, on suspicion of firearms offences, remained in custody yesterday.
