Police are attempting to trace a key witness who they believe may have information which could assist an ongoing safeguarding investigation in Bradford.
He is described as an Asian male who appeared to be small in stature.
He is believed to have been driving a black Volkswagen Golf in the Tong Street area between 2.30am and 2.45am on Sunday, 30 July.
The investigation is being conducted by Bradford District Safeguarding Unit and concerns a serious offence for which a 35-year-old man has been arrested and released pending further enquiries.
Officers suspect the male spoke to a female who was waiting for a taxi on Tennis Avenue between 2.30am and 2.45am.
They believe he seemed concerned about her welfare and waited nearby in his vehicle until her taxi arrived.
Police say he may have vital information which could help progress their case.
