Police are appealing for witnesses after a man collapsed in Oldham town centre.
The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, collapsed in New Radcliffe Street car park, off Henshaw Street, shortly before 1.00pm on Tuesday 29 May.
He went into cardiac arrest and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Police particularly want to speak to the driver of a small white car who was in the vicinity at the time.
It is believed the man may have made contact with the car when he collapsed.
PC Gaby Hannibal of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We are pleased that the man who collapsed is in a stable condition in hospital. Our thoughts remain with him and his family during his recovery.
“We are trying to piece together what happened in the moments leading up to this incident.
“We particularly want to speak to the driver of the small, white car. We think they might have valuable information about the incident."
