Greater Manchester Police published figures relating to an operation tackling the use of spice in the city centre.
47 people have been arrested in connection with dealing the psychoactive substance spice and 64 users have been referred for support since January of this year as part of an operation to crackdown on drugs and antisocial behaviour in and around Piccadilly Gardens.
All 64 users had their drugs seized and were referred to support services, with nine arrests and three street cautions taking place.
In addition, 18 people have been arrested for dealing cannabis in Piccadilly Gardens, one for dealing crack cocaine and two for dealing heroin.
