A murder investigation has been launched after a young dad was stabbed in the neck in Trafford.
At 11.10pm on Thursday 20 July, police were called to Royton Avenue in Sale to reports that a man had been stabbed.
Officers attended and found a 34-year-old man with a stab wound to his neck.
First aid was administered by officers at the scene before he was taken to hospital where he sadly later died.
It is believed the man was beckoned into the road by three other men and was stabbed when a short scuffle ensued.
