Three men who were refused drinks at a pub in Greater Manchester inflected injuries on customers after launching a machete attack.
Manchester Evening News reports that staff at The Woodthorpe Hotel in the Prestwich area of Bury did not serve the men drinks as they believed they were intoxicated.
Other pub-goers then forced the men to leave before they returned with machetes.
A 28-year-old man was found with serious, but not life-threatening injuries, and taken to hospital.
A second man was assaulted and treated for minor injuries.
Three men - aged 18, 20 and 21 - have been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assaults.
