Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in Leeds.
At 8.17pm yesterday, 6 February, police were contacted by the ambulance service who were attending New York Street in the city centre, where an injured man had been found near to Mecca Bingo.
The victim, a 48-year-old man, had been with two friends in the nearby park when they were approached by a group of youths.
The victim was punched and stabbed in the back. He was taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries are not considered life threatening.
The group was described as being a mix of white and black males and females.
