A man was punched and kicked while lying on the ground during an attempted robbery in Salford.
Shortly before 4.30pm on Monday 17 September, the victim was walking to meet a friend along Great Cheetham Street East towards Teltow Lane.
Two men grabbed him from behind and pulled his jumper over his head before pulling him backwards to the floor.
The attackers then continued to punch and kick him, resulting in the victim sustaining a punctured lung.
