A man has been jailed after telling police where he stole a television from whilst holding it in his hands.
Faisal Adalat, 24, of Milton Place, Halifax, threw a brick through the window of a property in Stamford Street, off Bowling Back Lane, Bradford, on 9 August.
Bradford Crown Court heard Adalat had been taking cocaine for five days prior to the incident and told attending officers: “I stole it from that house over there.”
Adalat, who was on prison licence at the time, said he heard voices telling him to teach the home owner a lesson.
He was sentenced to eight months in prison.
