An investigation has been launched following the death of a woman in Salford.
Shortly before 2.10am on Wednesday 5 June 2019, police were called to reports of concern for the welfare of a woman at a property on Manchester Road in Walkden.
Emergency services attended and sadly found the body of a woman - believed to be in her 20s.
A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
