A man was critically injured following a serious traffic collision in Bradford.
At about 12.40am on Sunday, 9 July, a 33-year-old man was walking across Croft Street in the city centre when a silver VW Golf crashed into him.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
The victim was taken to hospital with multiple injuries and is currently in a critical but stable condition.
A 34-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman arrested in connection with the collision have since been released pending further enquiries.
Enquiries have since established that the vehicle, which bore a 56 plate, was abandoned in St George's Place and later found burnt out on Hawkshead Drive.
