A man has been charged with murder after an assault in Withington.
Shortly before 8.40pm on Saturday 16 June Greater Manchester Police were called by the ambulance service to reports that a man had fallen ill at a property on Heysham Avenue in Withington.
28-year-old Noel White was taken to hospital but later died.
From initial enquiries, officers believe the man was assaulted earlier that day. Hedley Plummer, 37, of no fixed address has now been charged with murder.
