A man has been charged with assisting an offender in connection with the murder of Jalal Uddin in Rochdale.
24 year old Mohammed Syadul Hussain of Samson Street, Rochdale has been charged with assisting an offender contrary to Section 4 of the Criminal Law Act 1967. He has been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square on Monday 24 October 2016.
The charge relates to assistance being given to another man, who is believed to have been involved in the murder of 71 year old Jalal Uddin, and fled the country.
24 year old Mohammed Kadir, is alleged to have killed Jamal Uddin, and Mohammed Syadul Hussain, is accused of assisting Mr Kadir flee to Syria.
21 year old Mohammed Hussain Syeedy, has already been convicted of Mr Uddin's murder and was jailed for life with a minimum term of 24 years earlier this month.
