A man has been charged by the North West Counter Terrorism Unit and Lancashire Constabulary.
Jack Renshaw, 22 and from Skelmersdale, has been charged with two offences relating to using threatening or abusive words and displaying written material with the intent to stir up racial hatred.
He was bailed to appear at Preston Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 27 July 2017.
The charges relate to comments made at an event in Yorkshire in February 2016 and Blackpool in March 2016 and further comments made on social media.
