A man has been charged after a fatal collision in Timperley.
Gurparthab Ajay Singh, 26, of Hall Lane, Wythenshawe has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop after a road traffic collision and failing to report a road traffic collision.
Police were called shortly before 7.55am on Sunday 27 August to a report of a collision between a cyclist and a car on Stockport Road.
Emergency services attended and the female cyclist, who has since been formally identified as 24-year-old Vicky Myres from Flixton, was taken to hospital where she sadly died.
