A man has been jailed after speaking to paedophile hunters posing as children online.
Azher Khan, 42, from Longsight, tried to seduce what he believed to be two 14-year-old girls on an internet chatroom. The ‘girls’ were actually adult women working for a paedophile hunting group.
Manchester Crown Court heard how Khan incited them to commit sex acts and exchanged explicit messages and videos with them.
He arranged to meet one of the girls at Sandbach services on 3 August. Police were called and Khan was caught.
He was sentenced to 12 months in prison and handed a five-year sexual harm prevention order. He must also sign the sex offenders' register for 10 years.
