One of the oldest buildings in Leeds has been saved after restoration plans were approved.
Developers have now been given the go-ahead to restore the Grade-II listed First White Cloth Hall, on Kirkgate.
The former cloth market dates from 1711 and has fallen into serious disrepair.
Rushbond Group have proposed to rebuild the hall's demolished west wing along with the courtyard and a new shop front.
