The first roadshow has taken place as preparations get underway for the 2019 Tour de Yorkshire.
The fifth edition of the race which takes place from 2 to 5 May, will visit 150 towns and villages this year, 60 of them for the first time.
50 roadshows are being planned in conjunction with relevant local authorities along the route, with a particular focus on locations where the race has not been before.
The aim of the roadshows is to keep residents fully informed and also to ensure businesses and local communities make the most of the race.
Last year’s race saw a record breaking 2.2 million people line the route and was watched by around 10 million people around the world in 190 countries.
