Detectives are appealing for information after a disabled elderly couple were robbed in their own home in Greater Manchester.
At about 3am on Tuesday 4 July, police were called to Shaftesbury Avenue in Timperley to reports of an aggravated burglary.
Two hooded men dressed all in black had forced their way inside a property through a rear window.
One of the men threatened the couple and forced them to stay in their chairs in the living room while the other man ransacked the house.
The first man then took a gold bracelet from the woman’s arm before the pair fled the scene with cash and jewellery including two Longines watches worth £1,000 each.
The first man is described as 6ft, of slender build, with dark eyes, and spoke with a local accent. He was wearing a back hooded top and fingerless gloves.
The second man was described as wearing all black.
Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for the public’s help to trace the men responsible.
