Dance class opened for people with Parkinson’s

    A dance class has been opened to help people with Parkinson’s Disease and other conditions which restrict mobility.

    The ‘Dancing with Parkinson’s’ classes were launched at Pudsey's Robin Lane Health & Wellbeing Centre yesterday (22 February).

    Participants will have a chance to learn dances like salsa and tango, and will also take part in the celtic ceilidh.

    The classes are organised by charitable company Ascendance, supported by Parkinson’s UK, with £15,000 funding from Arts Council England and £1,000 funding from Leeds Inspired.
