A charity that gives practical and emotional support to unpaid carers is holding a series of events to mark national Carers Week.
Carers’ Resource - which helps about 16,000 unpaid carers across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale, Craven, Harrogate and Ripon - will host information stands at various supermarkets, GP surgeries and council buildings across the district between 11 and 17 June.
The theme for Carers Week this year is “healthy and connected”. Carers’ Resource will be featuring tips on its Facebook and Twitter pages during the week on diet, fitness, staying safe online and how to maintain wellbeing.
