People living in the Bradford district are being invited to share and celebrate the work of local patient participation groups (PPGs).
NHS Bradford City and NHS Bradford Districts CCGs are holding a celebration event on Wednesday 14 November 2018 at the Carlisle Business Centre, to bring together local PPGs, as part of the joint Patient Network.
The joint Patient Network for Bradford Districts and City CCGs practices brings together the already established patient groups to strengthen patients’ voices and make sure their views and ideas are heard by the CCG; ensuring they positively influence how local services are planned.
David Richardson, lay member for patient and public involvement at Bradford Districts CCG, said: “The event is an excellent opportunity for patient group members to come together and celebrate the important contributions they make by working closely with general practices.
“Both CCGs are committed to encouraging local people to share their views, so they can really learn from their experiences - both good and bad – to help shape health services.”
