Police are issuing images of men they want to speak with in connection with a stabbing in Huddersfield.
Kirklees CID would like to speak with anyone who can identify the two men pictured as extensive enquiries continue into an incident on Swan Lane on Friday July 3.
The incident took place at about 10.37pm after a 27-year-old male victim was attacked and suffered a stab injury to his back.
The victim needed hospital treatment as a result of the attack.
Officers initially arrested a man on suspicion of wounding but he has now been released without charge.
DC Vicky Foley of Kirklees CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this serious assault and have now issued images of two men who we want to speak with in connection with the attack.
“Any attack with a knife could easily have extremely serious consequences and although the victim in this case has now been discharged from hospital, he continues to suffer from a great deal of pain.
