A former Bradford window cleaner who attacked an old customer to fund a drug habit has been jailed.
Anthony Guy, 34, hit a victim twice on the head with a metal bar as the man was unpacking shopping in Great Horton. The victim was left requiring hospital treatment.
Bradford Crown Court heard how Guy asked the victim for spare change and when he was not handed more attempted to take away the man’s television.
The victim was attacked when he attempted to stop Guy and was robbed of his mobile phone and a wallet containing £75.
The court also heard how he had robbed from two other houses during a three-week spell in September last year.
He was sentenced to seven years in prison.
