A wartime painting from Bradford has been recreated as part of a series of events to celebrate International Women’s Day.
A total of 32 Bradford women agreed to take part in the project by Artworks Creative Communities to organise a photographed scene, replicating a 100-year-old piece of art depicting the women's canteen at Phoenix Works.
The photograph includes several local councillors, an MP, the first woman leader of Bradford Council, and leaders of local organisations, such as the National Science and Media Museum, and Bradford Literature Festival, alongside women in frontline jobs such as a bus driver, midwife and police officer.
The picture is on display in City Hall.
