A park in Bradford is to trial a scheme to encourage more biodiversity.
Peel Park will be used as a trial area where wildflowers could be planted and "specialist turf" introduced to encourage perennial flower species. Other parks could also soon follow suite.
The scheme comes following a council biodiversity review, where it was suggested letting areas of the park grow wild to attract certain species.
Also discussed was altering the maintenance regime on some roadside verges to better promote them as habitat for pollinators.
