Bradford will celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day, Friday 8 March, with a series of events taking place across this district.
Residents can get involved in two weeks of activities and events to celebrate. Highlights will include taekwondo, heritage walks, film screenings and a history talk.
Other events, which will take place up until 15 March, include a chance to meet inspiring women including cyclist Sally Hurst and taking part in a 'flash mob'.
The flash mob is arranged by Dance for Life and will take place in the Broadway shopping centre on International Women’s Day.
