The business behind Aunt Bessie's has agreed a deal to sell the Yorkshire pudding brand to the food giant behind Birds Eye and Findus.
Nomad Foods has reached an agreement to acquire the business from William Jackson & Son in a deal that values it at about €240m (£210.3m). The deal includes a production facility in Hull.
Aunt Bessie's holds number one and number two market share positions within frozen Yorkshire puddings and frozen potatoes respectively, which together represent the majority of its revenues.
