The boss of Asda has said the company’s headquarters will remain in Yorkshire following its proposed merger with Sainsbury’s.
Chief executive Roger Burnley was questioned by the Commons Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee about the planned union of the two businesses.
Mr Burnley assured them the supermarket's base won't move out of the region but hinted it might not stay in Leeds city centre.
