Asda’s chief executive spoke out to allay fears of job losses at the company’s Leeds headquarters following the announcement of a potential merger with Sainsbury’s.
Roger Burnley joined Sainsbury’s chief executive Mike Coupe yesterday (30 April) in claiming the planned takeover would mean more jobs for the combined business, not less.
It was added that Asda House will remain located in Leeds.
