Police investigating two incidents in Bradford City Centre where a gun was reported to be involved are appealing for witnesses.
At about 7.33pm on Saturday, 20 June a report was received of a male with a gun and a hammer in Centenary Square.
The male was reported to have walked towards the Alhambra and a description was passed which led to a male being located and searched by police to no gain.
At 7.50pm police received a call from a shop on Sunbridge Road, where a disturbance had occurred and a male was reported to have ran off with what appeared to be a gun.
A 38-year-old man arrested in connection with these incidents has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Enquiries suggest these incidents are connected and police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed either to contact them on 101 or via the West Yorkshire Police website.
The crime reference is 13200308776.
Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers.
