Police are appealing for information after a woman was seen in distress in Ravensthorpe in the early hours of Friday morning.
Kirklees CID would like to speak to a woman seen in distress outside a car on Huddersfield Road to make sure she is OK.
Officers were called at just after 3am(19/8/26) to a report a woman was seen arguing with three men outside a dark coloured saloon car on Huddersfield Road, just after the Ravensthorpe Gyratory.
The woman was called ‘Safina’ by one of the men and left with them in the vehicle.
She was described as 5ft 5ins tall, slim and as having red/brown hair, wearing a blue Adidas jacket, blue jeans and white sandals.
DI Mark Colman of Huddersfield CID, said: "We have been conducting enquiries into this report today and would like to speak to this lady to make sure she is alright.
"We do believe parties in the car where known to each other and I would ask this lady or anyone who can help identify her to contact Kirklees CID on 101 referencing log number 178 of 19 August.
"Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111."
