Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured in an incident in Otley last night.
Officers were called to Kirkgate shortly after 9.30pm on Saturday (11/7) where the victim, an 18-year-old man, was found in the street. He was taken to hospital for emergency treatment and remains in a serious condition.
A 40-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of assault and an 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the incident. Both are currently in custody.
A scene is in place in Kirkgate and enquiries are ongoing.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation.
