A man was lifted from Bradford city centre by the air ambulance after being assaulted.
The helicopter landed in City Park yesterday, 23 July, to take the man to hospital for treatment to head injuries.
Police cordoned off Randall Well Street from the side of the Alhambra theatre to the bottom of the junction of Great Horton Road and Chester Street.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the man had been assaulted on Great Horton Road.
The victim has undergone a CT scan and his injuries have been described as non life-threatening. His condition is said to be stable.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
