£600,000 from the Big Lottery Fund is to be shared out amongst 44 different groups in Bradford.
Some of the projects receiving funding include Bradford Asian Sports, which aims to raise awareness of the health problems caused by smoking, and Muslim Women’s Council, for a support group for women going through family, marriage and divorce problems.
The One Britain One Nation group is also set to receive extra cash to assist in this year’s day of celebration on 29 June.
