A man has appeared in court today charged over the murder of a man in Leeds.
Hussein Semusu, aged 20, of Grange Avenue, Chapeltown, has been charged with murder in relation to the death of 21-year-old Tcherno Ly in Chapeltown on Sunday, August 25. He has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court earlier today and was remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Crown Court tomorrow.
Semusu was arrested yesterday by detectives from West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
Beni Nami, aged 19, of Nassau Place, Chapeltown, is currently remanded in custody after previously being charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon in relation the incident.
Detectives would still like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation.
