Ajay Devgan Finally Admits Pakistani Talent is the Best!

The tensions between India and Pakistan after the Uri attacks was bubbling last year during the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

The controversy surrounding the ban on Pakistani artists resulted in actors returning back to their homeland.

Ajay Devgan’s ‘Shivaay’ was clashing with Fawad Khan starrer, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and the Shivaay star supported the ban on Pakistani artists. He also went on to say he would not be working with any of the Lollywood stars due to the ban imposed on them by a political party.

However, it seems like Devgan has gone back on his words. His upcoming movie Baadshaho has the song, ‘Mere Rashke Qamar’ which was originally sung by the maestro, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The reprise has now been vocalized by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

It is surprising to see the actor using Pakistani talent for his film when he was hell bent on having Karan Johar replace Fawad Khan in the movie released last year even after the shooting was complete.

Looks like Ajay has finally accepted Pakistani actors and singers for the immense talent that they have. Mere Rashke Qamar could not have been sung by anyone in India and it had to be done by the one and only, Rahat Fateh.

It makes one wonder as to what was the real reason for him protesting against Fawad Khan in KJo’s film. Was it just because the movie was bound to do better than his own venture Shivaay? It definitely seems so now.

Apparently, all has been forgotten because his own film needed Pakistani talent.
